Where to Stay

Vilnius offers a wide range of accommodation options, including hotels and Airbnbs, catering to different preferences. Since the wedding will take place in the heart of the Old Town, we recommend staying in or near this area to make the most of your visit. Here are our top recommendations:

Best Areas to Stay

Old Town (Senamiestis) – Sightseeing & Convenience

Staying in the Old Town puts you in the heart of Vilnius’ historic charm, surrounded by cobbled streets, stunning architecture, and a lively selection of restaurants, cafés, and bars. This area is within walking distance of St. Casimir’s Church, making it the most convenient choice. Accommodation options range from boutique stays to well-known hotels.

Paupys – Trendy & Modern Atmosphere

Paupys is one of Vilnius' newest and trendiest districts, blending modern design with green spaces and a relaxed riverside feel. It’s only a short walk from the Old Town but offers a quieter, upscale atmosphere. This area has stylish apartments, boutique hotels, and a growing selection of high-quality restaurants, making it a great option for those who enjoy a contemporary yet charming setting.

Užupis – Artsy & Unique Experience

Just across the river from the Old Town, Užupis is Vilnius' bohemian district, known for its artistic vibe, quirky cafés, and independent galleries. Declaring itself a "Republic" with its own constitution and creative spirit, this neighborhood offers a fun and unconventional stay. Accommodation here includes boutique hotels and unique Airbnb options, ideal for those looking for something a little different.

Nearby Areas – Easy Access to the City Centre

Vilnius is easy to get around with local transport and taxis, so other places in the vicinity of the city centre are also great options for accommodation. Whether you choose a neighborhood a little further out or prefer to stay close to the heart of the city, you’ll still have quick access to the Old Town and all its attractions.

Wherever you choose to stay, Vilnius is a compact and walkable city, with plenty of transport options to help you explore.
